IMV’s luxury publications across the four countries include the monthly magazine Robb Report and the biannual coffee table-bookLuxury Guide which are distributed to high-net-worth individuals.

An exciting opportunity for a regional role based out of Indochine Media’s Vietnam office.

Reporting to the Group Creative Director, the successful applicant will be based in the cool and trendy loft-style studio in Saigon Pearl, working with editors in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to produce outstanding work on Robb Report and Luxury Guide.

The job:
The Magazine Designer will oversee the design of Robb Report magazine and Luxury Guide, our bi-annual coffee table book.
They will be responsible for upholding and developing each individual brand’s design values, under the direction of the group’s Creative Director, ensuring completion of layouts from initial design through to handover of pages to production.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take on a key role in a busy team, in a fast growing company with a variety of work and real career opportunities.

You will:
Manage visual workflow across a number of different products and work closely with other team members, in the sales team, marketing team to ensure pages are produced to standard and deadlines are met. Work closely with the Picture Editor to ensure quality of images and photography
Perform final checks on all pages prior to supplying completed files to production.
Continually re-evaluate and evolve the development of the brands, under the direction of the Creative Director.
If required and subject to short notice, to be able to work late to fulfill any tight deadlines that may occur Oversee or execute design of any supplement/point of sale/promotional literature/advertorials/digital imagery to ensure that they are in keeping with the brands visual strategy, when required

You have:
A real enthusiasm for magazine design, be full of ideas and able to demonstrate genuine artistic flair
Excellent time and people management, organization and communication skills to manage your work across several brands as well as having an outstanding creative talent
A clear understanding of current magazine design, production and print processes – knowledge honed over a proven amount of time working in a magazine design environment and be highly skilled in Indesign and Illustrator
The ability to keep abreast of any new IT developments that will improve the standard of the brands.
