Hiring a Freelance Illustrator

Hello everyone,

I hope I am posting in the right section as my Vietnamese isn't really good. Please forgive me if it isn't the case.

My name is Ben, I am French and currently living in Ho Chi Minh City. I am looking to hire a freelance Illustrator / drawer to work with me on some cool projects (flat icon sets, characters and simple game backgrounds). I will have new projects every month, so I am looking for a long term partnership.


Why should you work with me?

- I am someone really friendly and had the chance to work with a lot of Vietnamese designers when I was a creative director. All of them enjoyed working with me and they have learnt a lot.

- You will be free to work wherever you want (home, café… it is up to you).

- This is a freelance contract, so you will be free to work on other projects (personal or professional) and manage your time as you want. I only expect you to work well and finish my projects on time (between 2 to 3 projects per month). If you are fast it’s even better.

- We will meet couple of times a month so I can give you more details on new projects, review your work and pay you. Payment via Paypal is also possible if it is more convenient for you.

- You will always work on one (and only one) project at a time (and not 2, 3, 4 projects at the same time). I believe working this way will be more effective and will increase the quality of your designs.


Who am I looking for?

- A talented and passionate illustrator / drawer

- You should be living in Saigon (as it will be easier to meet)

- Your experience doesn’t matter as long as you have a nice portfolio to show me

- You should be able to speak at least a little bit English (if not it will be complicated to talk). You don't have to speak English very well, only a lil bit will do
