1. Duties:
General description:
Responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished YouTube episode that matches producer’s vision and is suitable for airing. The goal is to bring visual and sound together in order to create a cohesive program/channel/episode.

Detailed duties:

• Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Design text fx, subtitles and visual fx in general (Basic ability to use Adobe Ilustrator/Photoshop)
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Mastering final cuts with music, sound fx, visual fx, and text fx.

2. Requirements:
Skills and Specifications:

• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut)
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity, and etc.
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills

Education and Qualifications:

• Advantage for proven working experience in video editing
• Advantage for BS degree in film studies, cinematography or related field
